It was that time of year again, our annual Footy Fun Day at JK Grant Reserve.
On Friday, 1st September 2023, children at Altona Early Education Centre got to kick, pass, and mark the footy around with their friends and family.
The Footy Fun Day was a big hit, and all the children had a great time. It was also good for them because it helped them:
- Get fit and strong
- Get better at kicking, catching, and running
- Make new friends and learn how to work together
- Feel good about themselves
- Learn how to play footy like the professionals
Altona Early Education Centre wants to make sure children have lots of chances to get active and make friends. The Footy Fun Day was a great way to do that.
Plus, Footy Fun Day helps children learn to love footy and exercise. That’s important because it can help them stay healthy and avoid getting sick.
