This year’s Father’s Day gift was themed ‘a gift of memories’. The children invited the special men in their lives to join them in a day of celebrations at JK Grant Reserve. Together, the children, educators and their sepecial people played footy at the oval. After this, everybody enjoyed a shared lunch and activities at the centre. The event raised more than $550 for Fight Cancer Foundation Footy Colours Day.
Centre Director, Sarah McAnulty, spoke to Matthew Sims from Star Weekly Newspaper. ‘What a great turnout’, she said, surprised that more than 50 fathers/special persons participated on the day.
