Altona Early Education Centre is owned by a local family who were born and raised in Altona themselves: Grace and Tom Azzopardi.
Before opening the centre, Grace worked in Altona as a registered psychologist. During her university studies she also completed years of voluntary work at the Royal Children’s Hospital, assisting preschool children with developmental challenges. Grace is also a qualified kindergarten teacher and early childhood educator.
Tom works in road construction and is often found hands-on, helping to raise their four children or working at the centre when needed.
