At Altona Early Education Centre, we’ve created a homely, nurturing space where children feel secure, joyful, and inspired to explore the world around them. Our warm environment builds confidence, encourages curiosity, and plants the seeds for a lifelong love of learning.
Grace and Tom Azzopardi, passionate members of the Altona community, bring heart and hands-on dedication to the centre. Grace—a registered psychologist, qualified kindergarten teacher and early childhood educator—has worked closely with young children in both professional and volunteer roles, including time at the Royal Children’s Hospital. Tom, a devoted father of four with a background in road construction, brings a grounded, everyday presence that helps make our centre feel like family.
We know children thrive when surrounded by love, trust, and strong connections. That’s why we champion open communication and welcome families to play an active part in their child’s journey. Our inclusive programs celebrate different cultures, respect family values, and cater to each child’s unique interests—creating a vibrant, supportive space where every child can shine.
Proudly located in the heart of Altona in Melbourne’s west, we’re here to guide little learners as they grow, discover, and thrive in a place that truly feels like home.
We’d love to meet you—get in touch today!

“We are thrilled that our little man has a spot with the team at AEEC. We’ve always felt that the team care about him as a human, his wellbeing, his early education, his routine and (most importantly) his happiness as much as we do, and this means everything to us. He loves his friends and carers at AEEC.”
