Finding the right childcare centre is about more than convenience it’s about choosing a place where your child feels safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Located about 13 minutes from Seabrook, Altona Early Education Centre provides a nurturing environment where children can build confidence, develop friendships, and enjoy meaningful learning experiences every day.
Our childcare programs are designed to support each stage of early childhood development through play, exploration, and positive interactions. We create engaging learning opportunities that encourage curiosity, independence, creativity, and social growth, helping children develop essential skills in a natural and enjoyable way.
Altona Early Education Centre is proudly owned and operated by Grace and Tom Azzopardi, who are deeply connected to the local community. Grace is a registered psychologist, qualified kindergarten teacher and early childhood educator with extensive experience in child development and early learning, while Tom brings a strong family-focused approach as a devoted father of four. Together, they have created a centre where children and families feel welcomed from the moment they walk through the door.
We understand that strong partnerships between educators and families are key to a child's success. Our team works closely with parents to ensure every child receives personalised support, while our inclusive environment celebrates diversity, respects individual differences, and encourages children to learn at their own pace.
Conveniently located in Altona (Western Suburb of Melbourne) and easily accessible from Seabrook, our childcare centre offers families a trusted early learning environment where children can thrive, grow, and enjoy a positive start to their educational journey.

“Since their opening in July 2017, our son (7 months then) has been attending AEEC. A five-star boutique childcare experience for first time mum and dad, and the best in the Inner West. Grace (owner) and ALL the STAFF are so amazing, affectionate, caring and very accommodating of our needs. The facilities are fantastic and modern which is only complemented by the healthy food they provide for my little boy. I cannot recommend this centre more highly. This place is like a 2nd home for my son and the best decision we made for his early childhood learning.”
